As unfortunate events can happen without notice, Cornerstone has taken proactive steps to avoid delays in productivity or lapses in patient data security.  Cornerstone employs a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and database administrator to oversee network services, workstations, switches, firewalls, Internet connections, Terminal Services, all LAN support as well as our phone system.  Cornerstone uses Symantec Backup Exec version 12 as backup software, with full-system backups created six (6) days per week.  These backups are alternately digitally recorded onto terabyte (1 trillion bytes) external hard drives, capable of maintaining two (2) complete system backups each, and transported off-site to a secure facility in the event disaster recovery becomes necessary.
